The account: whose it is and what may be done with it

Who owns the account, who answers for the password and what becomes of abandoned ones.

The account is yours, access is your care

Only you know the password; the portal stores not the password but its imprint, and the original text cannot be recovered from it. From which follows the unpleasant but honest part: if the password leaks, the account can be recovered only through the linked email.

Link an address in advance. It is the single thread that ties the account to you rather than to whoever guessed the password.

The name

The name is chosen once and does not change: the ladder, the forum, your Arena history and other people’s letters hang on it. Names posing as official ones (“Watcher”, “Administrator” and the like), insulting ones and advertising ones are taken away.

Handing over and selling

An account is not handed over, not sold and not rented out. Whoever buys someone else’s account is protected by nothing: the seller knows both the password and the email.

Other people’s devices

The list of your sign-ins is in your Keeper’s account, and “sign out everywhere” is there too. Use it after someone else’s computer.

Abandoned accounts

Accounts are not deleted for inactivity: come back in a year and your heroes will be where you left them.

The other codes

Rules are read out of order: from “the forum” people more often go to “fair play” than back to the list.
