Without an account the game runs, but everything you gather is tied to this device and this tab: there will be nothing to carry over to your phone with, and nothing to restore after the browser is cleared. An account takes a minute and makes one save serve all your devices.

Yes, one account for everything. One registration, one password.

Signed in on the portal — the “Play” button opens the world without a second password. Signed in inside the game — the portal knows you when you open the site in the same browser.

Open “Recovery” on the sign-in page and give the email address linked to the account. The letter with the link goes there.

If no email is linked to the account, you cannot recover it yourself — link an address in advance, in your Keeper’s account. It is the single thread that ties the account to you rather than to whoever guessed the password.

No letter arrived — look in Spam: mail services often hold back the first letter from a new address.

Sign in from anywhere you like, but one character cannot be played from two devices at once: there is a single save, and the window closed last overwrites the one before it.

The list of your devices and sign-ins is in your Keeper’s account. “Sign out everywhere” is there too — for when you signed in from someone else’s computer and are not sure you left.

No. The name is chosen at registration and stays: the ladder, the forum, your Arena history and other players’ letters all hang on it.

Choose it knowing that everyone will see it.

Write about it in the English tavern on the forum or to the support address: an account is deleted by hand, so that one stray tap cannot carry off years of play.

What deletion does: the save, the heroes and the linked email are gone. Forum posts stay — they are part of other people’s conversations, and tearing them out would tear those conversations apart. The author’s name in them is made anonymous on request.

With “How to play”: the first thirty minutes are laid out there step by step, with shots of the real screens.

The short version: pick a class, go through the awakening, take the first task from Lumi, fight in the first land until level five, and do not forget to cleanse souls — your party is assembled out of them.

Lands — 8. Dungeons — 4. World lords — 3.

On top of that there is the Endless Spiral of 200 tiers, the Citadel raid for eight and the Arena.

Up to 4 companions beside the hero, and the slots do not open at once: 2 from level 1, 3 from level 30, 4 from level 50.

Creatures come from cleansed souls: you win — you cleanse — you get one for the menagerie. The menagerie is not endless either; its room grows.

Gear in Orunthys is laid out in tiers, and each one opens at its own level. Chasing an item outside your tier is pointless: either it will not go on, or it will not repay its price.

Within a tier, items differ by rarity and by what has been hung on them: gems, runes, reforging.

The bag holds 150 places. When they run out, loot does not vanish quietly: it goes to your letters, and you can collect it once you have made room.

The easiest ways to unload: the shop (sell), the forge (break down into materials) and the jeweller (dissolve spare gems). Breaking down and dissolving take out whatever was set in — they do not eat it.

None of your things. Death in Orunthys costs time and a turn, not your bag: you come back and carry on.

If dying has become too frequent, it is almost never luck: check whether your gear has fallen behind the tier your level calls for, and whether it is time to change who is in the party.

Yes. Dungeons are run co-operatively, the Citadel raid has eight places, the Arena is fought two against two, and Orders give shared weekly tasks, a treasury and a common vault.

Loot in co-op is split by role, and contested items are rolled for between the party rather than going to whoever tapped first.

Three usual reasons, by how often they turn out to be it:

• the gear has fallen behind its tier. See the table of tiers in the gear answer above;
• the party was assembled out of whoever was caught first rather than out of whoever works against this enemy;
• a story chain that opens the next land has been skipped.

None of that helped — ask on the forum, in the English tavern: people answer there, and there you can see that others were stuck on the same thing before you.

No. Orunthys opens with a link and is played through in full for free: every land, dungeon, the raid, the Arena and the whole story are open without a single coin.

Speed and looks, not strength.

Bundles hold resources, boosters, cosmetics and vault space — that is, what a free player earns anyway, only slower. There is not one stat in them that money alone can reach, and not one item above the gear tier your level calls for.

You cannot yet: taking money is NOT wired to the shop front.

The shop shows what is in a bundle, how long the offer lasts and what it is worth in game terms, but there is no payment button on the live server. When payment appears, there will be a news entry about it.

The monthly seal, meanwhile, is already bought with emblems earned by playing — as it was before.

There is nothing to refund yet: there are no payments. The refund procedure will be written into the purchase rules before the first payment button appears, not after it.

Yes, through the exchange: an item is put up as a lot, a buyer takes it for gold, and the sale is charged a commission.

Handing items directly from one player to another is absent on purpose: it turns into a way of buying game things for real money outside the game, and a way of cheating a newcomer.

No, and that is a rule rather than a wish. Accounts are not sold, not bought and not rented out.

Whoever buys someone else’s account is protected by nothing: the seller knows the password and the email and will take it back whenever they please. Such deals are removed from the forum, and those involved are restricted.

No. The forum knows you by your game account: your name on the square is the same as in the game, and there is nothing to swap it with.

The portal has no user table of its own at all: sign-in, the forum and your account all ask the same game about the same player. That is why a forgotten password is recovered once, not separately for the site.

You can read the forum without signing in. Writing needs a sign-in: there are no anonymous posts on the square, and that is a defence first of all against whoever came to litter.

30 minutes after sending. After that — only through a Watcher.

The reason is simple: people manage to reply to a post, and a quiet edit after the fact makes their reply meaningless.

The pause between your own posts is 20 seconds, a post holds no more than 3 links, its length runs to 8,000 characters and its title to 120.

Report the post — everyone has the button. The report goes to the Watchers with the reason given, and it is visible when the case is looked at.

Do not answer in kind: the review looks at both of you. Even someone temporarily forbidden to write can report — otherwise a person would be locked in alone with whoever is hurting them.

A plate saying “removed by a Watcher” stays where the post was — it does not vanish without trace, so the conversation is not torn apart.

You can ask the Watcher for the reason in the thread or in the English tavern. Every moderator action is written into the service log: who, what, when, what it was and what it became — so “for no reason” does not happen here.

The portal has no file upload at all. The only thing you can attach is artwork from the game itself — chosen from a list.

That is deliberate: a store of other people’s files means harmful attachments, a traffic bill, and a “picture” that turns out not to be a picture. You may link to an outside image, but it opens as an ordinary link.

A browser and the internet. Nothing to install, nothing to download.

The game is built for a phone first: it is laid out for a narrow screen, and on a large one it simply gets roomier.

In order, from common to rare:

• reload the page — with a dropped connection this fixes almost everything;
• check whether your traffic goes through a blocker or a corporate network that cuts connections;
• clear the browser cache if the game stopped after an update;
• try another browser, to find out whether the browser is the problem.

None of that helped — write to the English tavern and say: the browser, the device, and what you were doing before it stopped. Without that it cannot be repaired, only guessed at.

First check which account you signed in with: most often the “loss” is a second account made by accident, or play without an account on another device.

If the account is the same and the progress is not — write to the English tavern and give your Keeper’s name and roughly when you last played. Saves live on the server, and what happened to them can be looked up.

To the English tavern on the forum. A useful bug report answers three questions: what you were doing, what you expected and what happened instead.

A screenshot is worth ten paragraphs of description.

No. A mistake in your favour is still a mistake, and using it breaks the fair play rules.

Report it in the English tavern. Nobody has questions for the one who reported it; there are questions for the one who quietly farmed it for a week, and what was gained is rolled back.
