What Orunthys is. A dark-fantasy turn-based RPG that runs right in your browser. Malkar tears the souls out of the living, and bodies without souls become monsters. You are a Keeper — someone who can see souls. You do not simply kill a corrupted beast: you weaken it in battle and give its stolen soul back.

Where to play. Free, no install: https://www.orurpg.com in any browser, or as an app inside VK. Your save lives on the server. You can look around without an account, but without one your progress stays on a single device. The game has an English interface: switch the language in the ⚙ settings.

Your first half hour.

• Pick a Keeper: Kael, a Hunter from the Dead Brook (sturdier, Arrow Hail hits every enemy), or Liara, a Pathfinder who hears souls (faster, Spear of the Source hits one target three times as hard and heals the party). This is not a class for life: your facet — Guardian, Berserker or Weaver — is chosen at level 25.
• Fights are turn-based and speed sets the order. Focus the weakest enemy: a dead enemy does not hit back.
• Weaken an enemy to roughly 45% and press Cleanse to return its soul. Souls drive the story, and the creature's Echo may join your party.
• Gear does not equip itself. Open your character and press Equip best.
• You will die, and that is fine — the game is hard on purpose. The very first death is forgiven; after that a defeat costs a tenth of your gold and some gear durability, never levels.
• The home by the Dead Brook heals, repairs and trains your companions. The Home button brings you back in 8 seconds.

Where to go next. 35 lands plus the Keepers' Square, four dungeons, the Endless Spiral with 200 tiers, the Citadel raid for eight, the arena, the Siege of the House and your own Abode with buildings up to level 10. When you get stuck, the answer is usually one of the many ways to get stronger: gear tiers, sets, gems, runes, sharpening up to +15, spells, companions and the Font of Rebirth.

Forum etiquette. Be kind, argue about builds rather than people, and never share passwords or card details. Bug reports are welcome here too — tell us what you did, what you expected and what happened instead.
