The exchange price corridor
An order’s price stays inside a corridor: from half the reference price of the good to a quarter above it. The reference is the shop price for a shard and the cutting price for a gem.
Getting started
Anything bought on the exchange counts as fresh for a day: you may resell it, but commission eats half the proceeds. Cancelling the order and posting it again does not help.
For any one good there is either a buy or a sell order: both sides of the book at once is not trading, it is a printing press.
