Legendaries: forging and upgrading
A legendary is either knocked out of a lair lord or assembled at the forge from parts: the parts drop in labyrinths, from bosses and in the Spiral.
Gear
A finished legendary is then upgraded — by investing relics and endgame shards. This is the main sink for late materials.
