Fair play

On bots, exploits, second accounts and thrown matches.

The competitive side of the game — the ladder, the Arena, the season, the Orders — is worth exactly as much as it can be trusted. So it is stricter here than anywhere else.

Forbidden

  • Programs and scripts that play for you: bots, auto-clickers, macros, “helpers”.
  • Interfering with the game from the browser: editing data, forging requests to the server, getting around checks.
  • Using bugs in your own favour. Reporting a bug is right; using it is an offence.
  • Second accounts for the competitive side: feeding yourself in the Arena, inflating places, a second voice in Order affairs.
  • Arranged fights and throwing Arena matches by agreement.
  • Buying and selling accounts, game valuables and services for real money outside the game.

What is allowed even so

  • Playing from several of your own devices.
  • Making a second character — that is part of the game and it is provided for.
  • Helping a friend through a dungeon even when they are weaker.
  • Using guides, calculators and this portal.

How this is checked

The game server is authoritative: everything that changes the game state is counted there, not in the browser. Discrepancies are visible, and they are looked at by a human rather than by a machine. Whatever was gained unfairly is rolled back — together with the ladder places standing on it.

The other codes

Rules are read out of order: from “the forum” people more often go to “fair play” than back to the list.
