The general rules of Orunthys

Five lines from which everything else follows. A minute to read.

Orunthys is a place where people play together. The rules here are not order for order’s sake — they are so that one person cannot ruin the evening of twenty.

Five rules

  • Respect the person on the other side. Arguing about a build is fine. Insulting someone is not.
  • Play yourself. Bots, auto-clickers and outside programs that play for you are forbidden.
  • Do not exploit other people’s mistakes. Found a hole — report it instead of farming it.
  • One person, one account for the competitive side. Accounts are not sold and not handed over.
  • Do not pretend to be someone else: another player, a Watcher, a Warden of the Code.

What happens for breaking them

Measures rise by degree and depend on whether it is repeated: a warning, a temporary ban on writing, a rollback of anything gained unfairly, restricted access to the competitive side, an account block.

A human being always makes the decision, and every such decision is written into the service log: who, what, when, what it was and what it became. If you think a decision is wrong, write in the English tavern — it will be looked at.

The rules change

When they do, a news entry comes out about it rather than a quiet edit of this page. The date of the last change stands at the bottom.

The other codes

Rules are read out of order: from “the forum” people more often go to “fair play” than back to the list.
